13. THE DILEMMA OF SPACE AND ITS SOLUTION

Space and its creation from nothing pose a dilemma to us for which a solution was proposed in the previous blog post. My entire concept of VFH is based on the idea of space with energy and space without energy. So my proposed solution to the dilemma was – space with energy got created from space without energy and both pre-big bang space and post-big bang space are the same except in their energy content.

Most of the modern day cosmologists may be skeptical about this concept because it tends to rule out a physical/material structure or density for space. Nobody knows what space is made of or what the constituents of space are or whether there is any physical structure for space. But everybody knows that space curves in presence of heavy objects due to gravity and that light rays tend to take curved paths according to this curvature of space. Now this curvature of space tends to give it a physical structure – we say the fabric of space or the fabric of spacetime. But what exactly is this fabric? Is there a physical structure for that fabric? Or is it just a fabric of imagination without any structure? Why nobody is able to explain that structure?

Definitely the fabric is not an imagination as the bending of light rays is an observed and confirmed effect. Then what is the way out for this? The only way out is to assume that the fabric structure of space is given by its energy content. In VFH I assumed that space has no density as mentioned in the previous blog post but it has energy. If the modern day cosmologists assume that space has density then that density is due to its energy content. Higher the energy content, denser the space. Gravity curves space or gravity is the curvature of spacetime. But what is the mechanism behind this curvature of the fabric of space? Why space curves due to gravity? A plausible explanation is - this is because gravity (of massive objects for example) or the massive objects themselves (in this case of example) interact with the energy content of space. When gravity/the massive object curves space, the energy content of that space might be getting redistributed and the light rays simply follow the path according to this redistribution of energy. This redistribution of energy built into the space by the action of gravity might be what we call curvature of space. Here I have tried to explain why space curves in presence of massive objects (gravity) or what causes the curvature of space. This explanation is based on the assumption that the structure of space/density of space is constituted by its energy content alone and not by any material particles. Also there are other phenomena like gravitational lensing and expansion of space all of which involves the redistribution of energy content of space. The actual mechanism behind this phenomenon of curvature/expansion of space can be quite complex and the explanation of that might demystify the very origin of our universe itself.

According to General Relativity, gravity is the curvature of spacetime which is a perfect mathematical model of Einstein. I never disagree with that model. I am not that much knowledgeable and mathematically advanced yet. I just tried to explain why space curves, what is the structure of space and whether space has got any density. According to my concept, the density of space is due to its energy content which means gravity can act only on space with energy like the space which is present in our universe. Since gravity is the curvature of spacetime and since the curvature/density of space is due to its energy content (this is my assumption), gravity is absent in regions of space without energy. This means gravity is absent in regions outside our universe where there is no energy or this means that gravity is absent and cannot act on space without energy/no-energy space/no-space. But gravity is present in other universes which contain space with energy like our own universe.

Actually at the moment of creation when energy appeared from nothing i.e. when equal positive and negative energy appeared from initial zero-energy space or space with no energy, at that very instant, space (space of our universe) was also created along with energy. This is because the very structure of space (space of our universe) is constituted by energy (in this case positive energy) and that is why I explained that the beginning of the universe was creation of space with energy (space with positive energy content like zero-point energy) from space without energy. This assumption leads to the property of space (zero energy space or no-energy space or no-space), that equal positive and negative energies (negative energy in the form of gravitational potential energy) can appear from space without energy without any external influence (as there was no external influence in the nothingness of beginning of the universe unless otherwise we assume the existence of an external divine creator - this is not meant to be a spiritual explanation - I want a scientific explanation only). This property eventually leads to spatially separated multiple universes created at different instances of time – this time is actually the time of the global universe containing all the multiple universes within it. The penultimate truth is that we will never be able to find out when did this clock of global time of the global universe start to tick and how many universes are actually out there. If we don't assume the abovementioned property of no-energy space/no-space, we have to admit that the external divine creator or God created this infinite global multiverse in which our own universe is one of the many entities.
