10. VFH (VACUUM FIELD HYPOTHESIS) – CONCLUSION

                            VFH began with the concept of a positive energy universe but in the end is disproved partially in that sense. I assumed in VFH that initially space with energy was present and that – this space containing energy was able to exert gravitational pull on itself and on surrounding space with energy to condense itself to create the singularity (the primordial patch of spacetime with infinite positive energy density). This concept turned out to be wrong as only a zero-energy universe is in accordance with the law of conservation of energy.

                             A positive energy universe will always violate the law of conservation of energy as we cannot account for the appearance of the initial positive energy. When I hypothesized the concept of VFH (initially called VFT as I assumed it to be correct initially) at the age of 19 (this is mentioned here only to show the inadequacy of my knowledge then), I was unaware of the concept of a zero-energy universe. On giving serious thought, anyone can realize that the universe definitely is a zero-energy universe if it is to obey the law of conservation of energy. But the 3 main points of VFH which are 

1) Energy was present before big bang

2) Space was present before big bang

3) Gravity was present before big bang

- can still hold provided the concept of multiple universes is correct. In fact VFH holds only if the concept of multiple universes is correct. There can be other universes outside that of ours about which we don’t know and the testability of which also I don’t know. But using the assumptions of VFH of no-energy space or no-space or nothing (3 of these are the same); I can give arguments in favor of multiple universes. VFH will be testable only if the concept of multiple universes is testable. If there are multiple universes, all of them must also be zero-energy universes because then only the law of conservation of energy will hold.

                             Only way to test the concept of multiple universes is to test for collision between our universe and other universes or to detect the remnants of collision between other universes which entered our universe (i.e. only the remnants entered – if such an event is ever possible). If we can detect it, then only we can test the concept of multiple universes. But before that we must devise models predicting the results of universe collisions about which I don’t know. There is also a possibility of vacuum decay in our universe but which if occur will only be after a long time of billions of years to come according to modern cosmologists. If vacuum decay occurs, then our universe will be destroyed and will most probably be replaced with a different universe obeying different laws of Physics.

                             According to VFH, there was nothing (no-space) before big bang which is different from the space of our universe – which is the space without energy and which is what I called no-energy space (space without energy) or no-space. Out of this no-space (zero-energy space), suddenly a patch of space (a primordial patch of spacetime) or the spacetime singularity with positive energy got created “somehow” (creation out of nothing). That particular “somehow” (creation out of nothing) can hopefully be explained using Quantum Gravity. But still we may not be able to go beyond that. In fact we cannot and we need not go anything beyond that if the concept of multiple universes is invalid. But if the concept of multiple universes is valid, then there arises the case of VFH but with a difference – in that the concept of space with positive energy that existed before big bang is replaced with zero-energy universes containing space and with each of them having finite positive energy inside them. In a closed universe containing space and which obeys the laws of Physics, no new spacetime singularities (which can undergo big bang) will form. But still such universes can undergo vacuum decay to replace the existing universe with another universe, provided that existing universe itself is a metastable state.

                          The case of our global universe being an open universe is still unknown. But if our global universe really is an open universe, then VFH can be invalid – provided an open universe avoids the possibility of multiple universes.

POSSIBILITY OF MULTIPLE UNIVERSES

                       Our universe itself is probabilistic (Quantum Mechanical) in nature. This is because according to the concept of zero-energy universe, our universe originated as a Quantum fluctuation (vacuum fluctuation) inside the initial spacetime singularity (big bang singularity) which itself was probabilistic or quantum mechanical in nature. The creation of our spacetime singularity (big bang singularity) itself was probabilistic in nature. So if our universe itself originated probabilistically as a result of a random fluctuation (Quantum fluctuation) within the spacetime singularity, then in the same way numerous universes might have arised/originated probabilistically over the ages as a result of Quantum fluctuations within other spacetime singularities which got created probabilistically before our big bang singularity. This interpretation of VFH leads us to the possibility of multiple universes.

                          To actually verify the concept of multiple universes, we need to have Quantum Gravity or TOE (Theory of Everything) so that we can effectively explain “creation out of nothing” or the creation of spacetime singularity with infinite positive energy density out of the zero-energy space or “nothing” (no-space). According to VFH as I have explained in my previous blogs, space without energy (no-energy space or no-space) which is what we call “nothing” when we refer to “creation out of nothing” – was present before big bang itself. And that nothing (no-space) spanned infinitely without any space or energy in it which is why it is called space without energy or no-energy space (no-space) but it did have spatial dimensions in it spanning infinitely to limitless extents. In such a condition – if suddenly from the tiniest region of infinite zero-energy space, the primordial patch of spacetime or the spacetime singularity appeared or “got created” probabilistically (it certainly is not deterministic as there were no laws at all to determine its creation), then why could n’t such spacetime singularities be probabilistically created in the past in this no-space (nothing) spanning infinitely without any bounds. It is possible, in fact it is highly probabilistic that such spacetime singularities were created at spatially separate points spanning infinitely apart which in turn went on to become or already exist as separate closed or open universes outside our own universe.

                             To prove/disprove this concept, we must at least have the formalism of Quantum Gravity or Theory of Everything (TOE) as formulating TOE alone cannot guarantee the verification of the theory of multiple universes. I say this because by simply formulating Quantum Gravity or TOE for our universe, we may not be able to probe beyond the beginning of our universe by big bang. We might be able to explain how the spacetime singularity (big bang singularity) got created. But still it might remain impossible to explain beyond the creation of our spacetime singularity as the other multiple universes if exist may altogether be having their own set of physical laws and their own set of TOEs (Theory of Everything) about which we might never even know. This is why multiple universes remain a definite and almost untestable possibility (probability) which cannot be ruled out even if we figure out our TOE in the end. The only way to find out the truth about this is to figure out our TOE and analyze the possibility of multiple universes using it. Till then multiple universes remain a finite possibility (probability).

THEORY OF EVERYTHING (TOE) – A PHILOSOPHICAL APPROACH

                             Even if human beings (we) discover the theory of everything (TOE), they will only be able to explain “How” the universe got created. We will never be able to explain “Why” the universe got created i.e. to say – we will fail to explain that “How” which we figured out using TOE. Using TOE, we might be able to figure out the mechanism behind the creation of the universe. But we will fail to explain the reason for that mechanism. That mechanism is “How” and the reason for that mechanism is “Why” which we will never be able to explain. Because even if we explain that “Why” scientifically, that would be superficial only as that “Why” would be followed by another “Why”. This means that human beings will never be able to find out the exact reason for the origin of the universe even if we discover TOE. Because there will be another reason for our reason. There will be a “Why” for our “How” i.e. to say after we have answered the first “How” (which is the mechanism of creation/origin of our global universe), a “Why” will follow and that “Why” is the reason for that mechanism which we will never be able to explain till the very end (i.e. till our extinction unless otherwise we colonize other planets or find new methods and resources to sustain our life on earth of which the latter i.e. sustaining life on earth in the far future seems impossible as of now).

                             Philosophical explanation of this is – when we try to explain that “Why” scientifically, another scientific “Why” will follow which will be followed by numerous scientific “Why”s so that human beings might never be able to answer all scientific “Why”s before their extinction. Human beings might go extinct by trying to explain all those scientific “Why”s. The only possible solution to this “Why” (reason for mechanism of creation of the entire universe) is to admit the reason for that “Why”. The ultimate truth is – nobody can ever discover scientifically or explain scientifically that ultimate “Why” (ultimate reason for the mechanism of creation of the entire universe). So we have to assume and admit that reason for the ultimate “Why”. The answer to that ultimate “Why” (reason for the mechanism and in fact reason for the creation of the entire universe itself) is “God Almighty”.

                        I am not promoting religion or superstition. Science can never explain or find out God because Science is not the method to find God (again no religious meanings involved). This is the ultimate truth no matter how hard the atheists disagree or deny this truth of existence of God i.e. to elaborate – nobody can find out God using Science. Knowing this truth, I am going to continue my research by trying to prove my concepts (DNH, VFH and others) scientifically and mathematically till the end of my life.

THE GOD CONCEPT – A PHILOSOPHICAL AND SCIENTIFIC APPROACH

                          The God concept depends on one’s faith and cannot ever be proven scientifically. I would like to believe (my faith) that there is a relation between the probabilistic nature of the universe and God itself.

                        In fact God is omnipresent and not to be seen anywhere – but supposed to be present everywhere which itself is the philosophical interpretation of probabilistic nature of God Almighty. God is probabilistic rather than deterministic – because he is supposed to be present everywhere but he cannot be seen anywhere – which itself is a probabilistic characteristic i.e. present but not detected or seen which is probabilistic. God’s presence is felt more in holy places like temples, church and mosques where probability of God’s presence is more and felt less in unholy or bad places where probability of God’s presence or Probability amplitude/Probability density of God is less. This itself is the biggest proof of probabilistic nature of God.

                             I want to remove the conflict between Science (as most of our Modern Scientists including Physicists and Cosmologists are atheists) with God and to prove that God is a valid concept in this world – not for the sake of religion, superstition and spirituality but for the sake of Goodness in people as God is the embodiment of goodness in this world including humans and all other things. In fact interpretation of God is beyond the scope of my blog. My research is not about interpreting God but for trying to prove/disprove my own concepts (hypothesized and created by me) scientifically and mathematically. All I want is to remove the conflict between Modern Science and God as both are valid, vital and extremely important for our existence and survival. There must not be a case of conflict or superiority of one over the other (for the sake of atheists) – there must be harmony between Science and God.

  

                       I am one of the biggest believers in God Almighty. But science is as important to me as God. I won’t ever promote any superstition or bad religious rituals in the name of God (but good and meaningful religious rituals have their own positive effect). I want to and I will approach everything scientifically and mathematically (whenever required) and will try to explain everything scientifically.

                           But still I would like to believe that God created a positive energy universe (still balanced by an equal negative energy) out of the zero-energy (nothing or no-space) that existed out there. For those who try to find a scientific explanation for God, it will turn out in the very end that – there is no scientific explanation for God, but he exists. It all depends on one’s faith. Atheists will remain atheists (till they experience God Almighty by themselves) and believers will remain believers.

Note:- My concept of VFH has evolved over the years according to the evolution and expansion of my knowledge field itself and will continue its evolution and expansion till the end of my life.

II) LATEST UPDATION IN VFH

The universe is continuing to expand at an accelerated pace. And the positive antigravitational energy is driving the expansion against the negative gravitational energy. But the modern day cosmologists say that the universe is essentially a zero-energy universe. That would mean that the positive antigravitational energy and the negative gravitational energy must balance each other so that the expansion will gradually decelerate and might even come to a stop to attain steady state. But it won’t collapse in on itself i.e. big crunch won’t happen. If the universe will continue to expand forever (which seems to be the case according to most recent observations) – that will mean that the positive antigravitational energy is greater than the negative gravitational energy which is acting against the expansion. Ultimately the universe must be a zero-energy universe for it to satisfy the law of conservation of energy…

III) FUTURE OF VFH

According to the latest interpretation of VFH – if VFH is true then it might imply that multiple universes exist. But the reverse of this statement i.e. if the concept of multiple universes is true, then VFH is definitely true. In that case multiverse will be a proof of VFH. In other words – to prove VFH, one just has to prove the concept of multiple universes. Because the concept of multiple universes will result in VFH (arguments for this statement will follow in 10^th blog post only as this blog post is just the shortest summary of VFH). In fact as it turned out such that VFH is valid only if the concept of multiple universes is true…

NOTE:- Multiple universes in the case of VFH means separate parallel universes or alternate universes. I am not yet ready to analyze this concept of VFH mathematically. I will make myself advanced enough to prove/disprove it mathematically in my future full time research career. But I can give arguments/proofs in favour of VFH/against it to prove/disprove it – which will be done in the following blog posts starting with 10^th one (B-10)…
